WELCOME TO RVING DOGS AND WINE

Post: Welcome

SOLD The Ultimate Family Glamper is now for sale $39,700

Updated: Sep 12, 2022

We are nearing the end of the 2017 Forest River Salem T27TDSS renovation and wanted to give you guys who subscribe to RV'ing Dogs and Wine a heads up before we officially list it elsewhere in the next few days. We still have some trim and touch-up work left as you might be able to spot in the images, we are also not fully staged yet. We hope the images still give you a good idea of what the complete Ultimate Famly Glamper will be and if it would be a good fit for your family. If you are interested in making an offer and have questions please reach out via the contact email on this site or at info@ankaccbuild.com

This RV has a very versatile layout, the electric bunks make travel days easier as you can raise the beds and use that space for storage during travel, while camping the beds can be raised so kids have floor space to play. The exterior door in the bunk area is large enough to fit bikes through. One large slide in the living area holds the sofa, custom corner dinette, and table. The ottoman/stool has dual functions and can be used for an extra seat at the table or for putting your feet up by the sofa.

We call this RV the Ultimate Family Glamper but with the versatility of the bunk space and spacious living area, it is a great layout for all sorts of family figurations. For example, remove one bunk for more headspace and use it for a small office/work/area, or for pet crates or dog beds, or just keep the bunks as guest beds for the occasional camping guests. The RV comes with the 3 original typical bunk bed pads and the bedding you see in the images. The manufacturer list this bunk area as having 3 bunks, meaning one person would sleep on the floor. Depending on your family figuration/planned use of the space you can order the number of bunk mattresses your family requires, we can provide sources.

The RV has 2 TVs, a new 40" smart TV on an adjustable mount in the living area, and a second TV in the main bedroom. The stereo has surround sound and a DVD player for movies. The electric fireplace is a cozy addition and a great source of heat on chilly nights.

Another great feature is that the RV has two entry doors, one in the living area and one directly into the bathroom, which means less mess and no tracking dirt through the RV in order to use the bathroom.

One awesome upgrade (that I now want for our personal RV) is the handheld remote control that operates the slide, all four stabilizer jacks, the awning, and the exterior lights, for a one-person drink-in-hand easy set up at camp.

The dinette area has a custom-built corner banquette with storage and cushions upholstered in a soft commercial-grade greyish-blue fabric. The freestanding table is a nice size at 30"X42", large enough for game night and dinner inside on a rainy camp trip.

The design and color scheme was created to feel calm, soothing and neutral. If desired it is easy to add your favorite pop of color to personalize the space. We used dark charcoal grey and bright white for our paint colors accented with white oak custom cabinetry and door details throughout. All paint used is Benjamin Moore Scuff-X, our preferred washable paint we use in home remodels.

Brushed stainless was used for cabinetry hardware, except in the bathroom where we used black fixtures and fittings. In the bathroom, we also added a light toupy grey color on the lower part of the walls and replaced the tub, toilet, vanity, and shower surround. The shower surround is an interlocking vinyl tile product from Palisade.

The cozy main bedroom closes off for privacy, has 2 hanging closets, a laundry chute and storage access to the basement under the bed, there is also additional storage space under the foot of the bed. The queen mattress is standard sized not RV short.

The exterior including the tires are in good condition since it has been maintained and stored inside most of its life.

There will be more pictures added so stay tuned!

We do not offer financing, if you plan on financing your RV purchase please set that up before making an offer as we can not hold the RV.
